Thank you for the info Denny, that would be awesome if you could find a pic of the dealer!

Talked to Dad last night, apparently Davis was a Pontiac only dealership and he was thinking it was on the corner of Main and Spyrun, but either way he said the dealership building is no longer there. It was Collins Olds my Dad ordered his 442 from. Also my Uncle traded his 67 Gto on his new 69 Gto ragtop at Means which was a Pontiac/Cadillac dealership. With a couple others he mentioned there were more dealerships downtown then I ever realized.
I didn't see anything in my Uncle's pic's last night related to Davis and Dad said he doubted he would have had any reason to take a pic there but was going to look through his pictures to see if he happened to have anything he might have forgotten about.
This weekend I will try to get on a Ft. Wayne Historical sight. About a year ago there were a bunch or real interesting pictures of different places around Ft. Wayne I ran into and if I can find it again, there might be something in there. If all else fails I will try the Library down town, I think they have a lot of Ft. Wayne history related stuff.
No luck yet, but I haven't given up yet either!

Denny

Really sorry Jason, but I am striking out. Didn't think that would have been a big deal, but haven't found ANY local dealership photo's in the local historic photo's or the library. Someone must have some, but not sure where else to look yet. I am going to post to my friends on Facebook to see if anyone would happen to have something. Outside of that or some other type of brainstorm I haven't had yet, I am losing confidence in finding something...

Sorry, Dennis

I had luck tracking down some photos of a dealer in Alabama by searching for current dealers in the same general area (regardless of brand) with the same name. In this case it was a Ford dealer if I recall correctly that the owner was the son or grandson of the original Pontiac dealer.

Thank you for looking Denny, I appreciate it. I searched around on the net and found a Davis auto that deals in tractor trailer repairs, as North says above, may be related.

Looks great out in the open air. Hope to be taking some pix of a finished Judge myself soon.

This thing has some yank! I spend as much time under the car cleaning as on top.
