Are you using correct end carbs with the fitting on the sides rather than the front? If so, a straight fitting into the carb with 5/16' inverted flare provision and a 5/16" inverted flare straight fitting with female 1/8" pipe threads screwed to the 4-way block would work with a short piece of flared tubing bent to fit the gap.

How does that sound?

https://www.amazon.com/Legines-Inver...inverted+flare

Here is a link to the female fitting to attach to the 4-way block.

Here is the male fitting to screw into the carb.

I have many 5/16" flare nuts . I can send two of them along with the brass fittings along with a piece of alum. tubing for you to make the connecting tube.

Hi Dick, please look at my first and third posts they show my set up with the front facing fittings. If I could get the Female fitting that you show above to attach to the 4 way block, I think I could use my existing Aluminium pipe and shape it into an S. How can I get one from you?
Cheers Frank.

I can get one from Amazon at $8.99 with free shipping to my door. I could then ship it to you. I can also find out if Amazon could ship it directly to you in Australia.

If I get one and ship it to your address, what are the rules on import, etc.? I have a friend who recently had a '62 Bonneville shipped to your country. Also, I sold him a '64 Pontiac Tripower intake. He knows what the rules are on import.

It could be shipped in a padded mailer.

My friend in Australia's name is Kevin Wojewodka. Another friend near me in Wisconsin is going to send Kevin some parts soon. I can give this fitting to my friend and he'll put it in the same package as the other parts.

If you want to go that way, you can pay me the $8.99 via PayPal to bocoogto@charter.net. I'll get the part from Amazon and give it to my Wisconsin friend.

In light of the above, you may want to consider a correct top (or tops) for the front carb instead of this fix-it method. I'll find out what the ramifications are of sending a carb top instead of the fitting. Then the setup would look like the attached pictures of a '65 setup is instead of going with a non OEM setup.

I see you're from Sydney. I'll find out where Kevin lives. Maybe you already know him.

Let me know how you want to proceed.

I received the fitting in the mail yesterday. Do you want me to ship some 5/16" flare nuts, also, in case you have a problem with the short tube you'll have to make? I have 100's of them.

Will get shipping cost Tuesday at the Post Office.

With the help of Dick Boneske on this forum and Pontiactripower.com I finally got this finished product, the first picture shows the lines you got from PY. when you bought the kit, but I always liked the original set up. Now I know it's not original, but that's how I build my cars and if it helps anyone thats great. Note: the line going to the front Carb is not easy to make but is possible obviously and the rear carb line was shortened by an inch Thanks again.
Cheers Frank.
