Default smuggling blocks and cranks...

That heading will get me a visit from US Customs! Hope it doesn't hurt to bad?
I made a run to Canada today delivering 2 blocks and three cranks to Team Rapid Fire.
The 62 was riding real low, but not on the bump stops. My car got lots of funny looks with all the rear wheel camber. These engines will live there last days wound tight on the strip, or salt? Roger said it was like Christmas pulling out the cranks to find they were all standard, not to mention the bores. There will be more pics from around the shop tomorrow.

63Banshee, I was in Plano, TX early march visiting family. There were a few days I had nothing to do. We could have met and told some lies. Maybe next time? Yes this is a very interesting car. Refer to the Blown Tempest thread in this 61-63 Tempest section. I think its pushed down to page 9

GaryK, I will get more pictures of the engine, its so damn cool. I just sat there for 10 plus minutes before taking that pic with my car in the back ground. This combo has a new manifold, and blower set up.

Here are a few other pics of some old setups.

The fuel injection was never run.

Roger ran this modified Offenhauser manifold with two holleys and nitrious on his hillclimb/sanddrag jeep with a 4cyl Pontiac. Don't remember the cfm of the carbs, but he said it flew.

How many of you have seen a M/T Cross Ram cut in half? Not sure if he ever ran this?

Here are a few more pics you requested Gary K. These are the only other good pictures of the Rapid Fire. In the future all of the pictures I post on this car will be in the blown tempest thread.
