Default Steering wheel part

Its a small plastic cylinder, it is spring loaded which looks like a bullet on each end (copper rounded pcs.) It is for the horn. Does anyone know what that is called and where to find one? Thanks

It is called a horn contact bushing. May be shared with other models. Try Ames catalog.

That is a part that did not change for many years. It is common to just about any 60's GM car. Try, Clarks Corvair, Restoration World, or Ames. Don't look in the Tempest book at Ames, go to the full size one. More parts like that there.

Good info guys...I was wondering why before my horn would work sometimes and then nothing at all. I needed it yesterday too as someone was just pulling out in front of me without looking and all I could do is swerve to avoid them
