Default Tempest glass

So the cheapest I have seen for glass so far has been around 450 but I heard its can be as cheap as 150, any resources?

tinted or clear? You can get a new one for 300 plus shipping (125ish). Used run about 100-150 plus the ride.

Don't forget the rubber gasket, that's over 100 bucks. I ordered my new one from Steele Rubber.

IIRC,,,All 61-62's are the same size,, except for tinting,,,2 different sized ones for 63.

I failed to ask what year we are talking about here. I have a windshield for sale out of a '61 (tinted) and at least 1 left out of a '63.

I found mine used at Desert Valley in Phoenix, the rubber has been another challenge. Buick and Olds wagon non-power is the same. (thank goodness)


I may know of one window in Oregon.

My guy Vincent, owns/owned his own glass company, but partners with Safelite. He had to do some searching, but it was available. Think he said it was same number as Corvair. Keep in mind, convertible may be different and Vincent may have found a cross-over for the windshield.

I had him looking for my rear glass for the wagon first and my Camaro windshield.He was only able to find the windshields.
