I would think the 70-77 radio faceplates probably cost significant'y more to make considering it's more complicated, and has molder/chromed writing on them...
If you have one for that price I’d pay that for it, if it looks like mine, which is damn near perfect.

1991 Grand Am: 14.4 @ 93.7mph (DA corrected) (retired DD, stock appearing)
2009 Cobalt SS: 13.9 @ 103mph (current DD; makes something north of 300hp & 350ft/lbs)

I use Molotow liquid chrome markers to repair any of the chrome edging on interior parts. Looks as good as nOS..

The markers are gray, not chrome.

I use them to repair model car bumpers. They are not f***ing grey...
