Default 67 2+2 Cat/Grand Prix

Guy's
I am nearing the end of my restore on the Bird and have been seriously been thinking about a big car this time around. I spotted an old advertisement a while back of a 67 2+2 Cat and absolutely fell in love with it! I sure would Love to find a restorable version of a car like that! I mean this looked to be a fairly rare rendition considering it had air full power and a four speed!! Now how Cool is that! Anyone out in the Midwest or anywhere for that matter have anything in there garage that they are thinking about letting go?? If so please send pix and info to shuspeed@hotmail .com I will entertain any big car of that vintage. My family has grown into three very large Boy's that don't even come close to fitting in the back of an F-body....
Thanks

That is a strange combo. Does it have cloth or vinal interior? What state is it in?

Made one error, it's a Ventura and it has a cloth interior. We're in WI.

A Ventura should have vinal interior.

Hate to burst your bubble, but this one's cloth. Nothing appears to be tampered with.

No bubble burst, but vinal was standard on a Ventura. Is it cloth/vinal or just all cloth? But back then, nothing was written in stone and from the sounds of that car, someone special ordered it.

A few miles north of McAlester OK is a 68 2dr HT. Don't know anything about it except a $10,000+- sticker on the window. In a little lot on the east side frontage road that often has some interesting stuff. I pass often but never have the time or money to stop. Car looks good from where I'm at but may be a 20 footer and I'm probably 200 yards away.

Patrick,

That one was sold quite sometime ago. I forget exactly where it ended up.

This one here was for sale on eBay quite often. I think he was down to $3,500 on it last time it was up. Here are some pics and the listing....

Michigan Car, True Survivor!
Very Rare 1967 Pontiac 2 +2 428 auto. Project Car -. Vin. 252877p226881

If you are interested in doing a complete restoration on a True Classic Car, this car finished would be one of a kind.
Motor was blue printed and built by John Deloreen's brother George, at Avon Motors Rochester, Michigan in the early 1980’s.
Car was ordered with no options, for racing. No Power Steering or Power Brakes. Interior has no extra, only bucket seats. Old style Tack and added 8 track.
This is a complete car with no missing parts. Also have extra parts, doors, hood, front bumper etc.
Last year of 2 + 2 only 1700 made.
We all know what a complete 67 GTO is worth, this is the Big Brother and more valuable!
I have owned car since 1987.
Please only people that truly understand the value of this rare muscle car respond. This car needs a total restoration. It is up on blocks and covered in my back yard. Not only is it a complete car with very rare build items. Ordered for racing. I have extra parts. See photo, hood, front bumper, doors.

In 1967 only 1700 2+2 were built, less then 1500 coupes were made. This is the last year for the 2+2 known as Big Brother to the GTO.

This is a one of a kind treasure.

This car was ordered for racing. No Power Steering or brakes, no console, Basic Standard.

A Build sheet is available for a $50. Fee as ad in Pontiac Club newsletter. (Smoke Signals POCI)

I have owned this car for 20 years and it did run great when it was parked 13 years ago. I was told it had a rebuilt motor with less then 30000 miles. I was told that the heads were dealer install and does not have numbers stamped on them. I was told the car is all original.

E-mail me with any questions.
If you research this car you truly understand the value of this rare muscle car. Not only is it a complete car with very rare build items, this is a one of a kind treasure will find this is a very fair price for this rare complete car with extra parts. This car may need labor, but you will not have to search for parts. I have been in Pontiac Club for many years and have not seen many 1967 2+2's. Many 65/66. In today's market investing in Muscle Cars is a win/win.

I guess this wouldn't be the place to mention the '67 2+2 Convertible (3 spd on the floor) that Chris just bought for $2500.00? (sigh)

BTW Clay, Haven't forgot about doing an artical on that awesome car of yours
