Default rotors for 69 70 Cat bonne

Looking for some good or even Nos brake rotors for a 69 or 70 catalina boonie. I have these on my 65 but they are too thin to turn. And does anyone know the part number for these?

You are looking for OEM only? These are available at the local parts house aftermarket.

Where? I could only find 1971-up and when I did find them, they were $150.00 each.

Post 69-70 full-size rotors

I have a set that I will be installing on my new 66 2+2.
Looked through many salvage yards before I found a virgin 70 Bonneville.
Yard owner was as surprised as I was that everything was still there.

I found these on-line. I don't know quality of them, but if you have none, here they are!
$85.00 each shipped!

I would proceed with caution on the partsgeek listing. The drawing shows a bolt pattern for the small cars, not full size. Hope someone can confirm. Price would be too good to be true.

CPR (california pontiac restoration) has an aftermarket rotor for full size. Not cheap, but I'll probably be going that way on my 68.

Rotors come up for sale on EBay, again usually not cheap.

The ad says that it may not be the actual photo, but they are directional, so there is a right and left. Weird.

CPR is repro'ing these, they ain't cheap though!
There is a guy out on Long Island deals in hard to find parts, goes by Mobile Parts, I think.
He had 5 sets of Delco rotors a couple of years back. I think I have his number around here somewhere if you need it. I can't remember what he wanted for them but I'm pretty sure it was less than the CPR repros.

71 rotors are available at napa for like 69.99. They are close to 70 and down. Napa told me these were 70 but very late 70 which are really 71. The front and rear bearing are different. The outer bearing will work on the car but the inner bearing wont mount up to the circle on the spindle. The bearing comes up short about 1/4 inch.
So I am still looking. Goatless I can use that guys number. $230 sounds like rape and I have time to wait a while.

I tried putting 71-up rotors on my 67 GP, but the calipers would not go on as the spacing was wrong. Then I remember that I had 3 NORS rotors upstairs that had been sitting there for about 25 years

NOS, these same rotors have sold for $550 a pair & that was not 2004-2006 or some kind of crazy eBay auction. Clean uncut used pair off a totaled car, nearly $300. Have never seen them sold in a parts store, sold first pair over 20 years ago. just my .02

The "Mobile Parts" guy's name is Craig Studnick "The Antique Automotive King".
His number is (516)485-1935. I'd tell you to tell him that Jeremy sent you, but I haven't talked to him in so long that I'm sure he wouldn't remember who I am anyhow.

I gave his number to some one recently and my dad bought a set. I don't know how many sets Craig has left. Craig likes to hide under the radar, so I won't post his number on the board. I will PM it if someone wants it.

EDIT. I guess Jeremy already posted it. Like I said, Craig is a unique individual and intends to be 'invisible'. Super nice guy and lots of laughs when talking to him. I see him at Carlisle every year. He has all kinds of OEM type parts as well as the better quality aftermarket parts for older cars. He knows his stuff as well.

Tod, I figured since he hands his info out to everyone that comes anywhere near him at every show/swap it wouldn't hurt to post it here. I'm sure he won't mind if it gets him sales. He still doesn't do the internet thing.

I think it was a year and a half ago or so last time I talked to him. He had 5 sets of Delco and 2 or 3 sets of some other replacement brand at the time.

I understand. I know my dad got a set of the Delco rotors. I see them everytime I am in his garage.

My dad just got his Catalina back on the road a month or two ago. It had a bad valve guide, which jammed an intake valve open, losing compression in that cylinder. It was a rebuilt motor (original block & 1 head) when he bought it so no idea what all was done to it. It sat for over a year until he made the time to fix it. I was hoping it would sit a while longer so I could buy the car from him. I really don't have the extra $$ to buy anouther toy right now, but I would love to have a '69 P8 Convertible (preferably a Bonne, but a Cat will do).

If you are still looking, a buddy of mine in WV has a 70 4-dr Bonny parts car with all of the front suspension/brakes on it. He bought the car and pulled the 455 motor/tranny out.

I think the car had about 70k miles so the rotors may be good enough to turn. He would give you a really good price, good enough that it would be worth the shipping costs.

Let me know and I will put you in contact with him.

P.S. THe Bonny is a fairly straight car (bronze color) and is pretty much a complete car with many good parts.
