Nice. I love that second picture of the '70 Esprit in front of the court house-looking building.

It's interesting that the car is without trim rings, since an Esprit would have come standard with them. Perhaps removed for the winter.

What I really like about the picture is how it captures the way the contour that runs over the top of the rear fender/haunch flows into and through the upper portion of the door. This is something that's hard to see on most colors and in most lighting. And that detail seems to have lost some of its crispness on the later model year cars as the dies wore out and were refurbished. The transition of it into the back of the door also frequently gets "lost" when cars are sanded / painted....

Yeah it was!

I always get anxiety posting pics of my car in this section. Everyone is probably looking at the 1980 bezel complete with an RTS badge

Mr. 72projectbird, it don't bother me, I wouldn't care if it had all 1980 interior in it It You got it on the road, that's more than some people have achieved so far. Have fun in your car and don't worry about it. You're not trying to play it off as a bumper to bumper correct car anyway. 99% of everybody you will meet will just be in awe of it!
My car looks okay, but it ain't perfect. There were mistakes made by me and the painter/restorer. My steering wheel is aftermarket, the window cranks are after market, upholstery, etc. I even had to use '70 Camaro rear lower valence sheet metal to repair the rusted mess I had behind the bumper. No firebird valence at that time. No big deal, we all do what we have to. I've about quit going to the big car shows based on innuendo & snooty comments. "F" em...I could care less. I drive mine and have a ball. I urge you and everyone else to do the same. Have a coke and a smile.!

Actually, I currently have the entire interior out of my 81 Recaro T/A in it. lol

I enjoy my car, even with all its faults. I rescued it from a date with the crusher (for real). It was sitting under a tree in someone's yard, complete with broken branches that had fallen on the roof.

Nice clock! lol

I'm in the same boat as it relates to not having a tach (that works anyways). It's on the list of things to fix.

Mr Sunshine was out at the right angles on Sunday at Anheuser Busch Plant in Merrimack, NH. Really changed the look of this car. The women there seemed to like it, including my wife. There was bucket loads of pollen on all the cars at that show.

ok then ! I noticed the "Pontiac" emblem is crooked.

The car next to this was a '76 with Gold Honey's which you can see in the reflection. BF Goodrich Sneakers on em too.
