Default 62 Offenhauser Dual Quad

I'm looking for a dual quad intake for my '62. I may be interested in one for my '59 also. Thanks

FYI,the early Offys will work with either 55-60 or 61-64 heads. They have a freeze plug that can be moved. Also the factory 991 2-4 intake does the same.tom

If you have not located one yet, I have one i will sell. Like Tom said these intakes will fit multiple years up to 64. I'll take $150.00 for mine.

Ha Poison heart, I dug out my dual quad intake and I thought it was an Offy, but it 's an Edelbrock dual quad. The part number if your interested is P22. This is a dual plane intake unlike the Offy, which is a single plane. This may not be what your looking for, but I told you I would post the part number today. If your interested let me know.

Thanks,

I don't think the Edelbrocks fit pre 65s do they?

I'd rather have an Offy.

Yes this one is for 64 and older. It even has the double passages like Toms referred too so it can be used all the way back to 1955. If your putting this on a heavy car a dual plane intake is better for torque. I believe that all of the factory dual quad intakes except maybe the bath tub are dual planes.

Did you happen to get any pictures of it?

I want to see what the water passages look like.

No hurry, Thanks

I just want to see a picture because I have an Offy 5029 intake which is supposed to be only the 55-60 pontiacs but it has both water passages.

joes70,FYI,the intake water patterns are 55-60,61-64 and 65 and up.Some of the offys and Es have both 55-60 and 61-64 built into them but none have 61-64 and 65 and up built in.Tom
