Door Skin replacement

First time doing a door skin replacement. Ground the edge down got the skin off. cleaned and painted the inside of the door.
On the back of the upper inside of the original skin there seems to be some kind of dabs of glue that runs the length of the cross brace.
Did not see this step in any of the video's I watched. What product do I need to use? Thanks, for any help. Todd
