Default TKO 600 for Sale

Some of you have have seen my thread on this tranny. It probably has a couple hundred miles on it. I was not educated on the 2-3 shift
and made a spirited run on the highway and missed that gate. Like others, the tranny kind of locked up - and now I know that I seemed to have broken the 5th/reverse rail. So that needs to be replaced.

I am deciding to sell this because I thought I may as well replace with a TKX while I have it out and the fact that it should be a direct replacement. TKX can handle a bit more rpm too.

Here was a video showing it shifting, but what you don't see here is the output shaft is not turning as I shift. It's stuck in a gear with the rail broken.

It has a .64 5th gear.

You guys know what these things cost new. You will have to replace the rail for 5th. Let's say $1200 plus shipping from NY.

His ad says you’ll have to replace the rail. That translates to you doing the repair at his asking price.

That's a good price, too bad I'm too far away. Would require me to change clutch as well, LOL. DAM.

Thanks. Yes I don’t expect it to last long. The 4 to 5 speed upgrade was the best mod I have done on the car. Fundamentally changed the driving experience.
