Default Tragic crash

https://www.freep.com/story/news/202...sh/7799253001/

Chris Darnell, driver of the Shockwave jet truck crashed and died at an air show yesterday. I remember seeing the three engine jet truck when Les Shockley was driving it. Amazing. May he Rest In Peace.......

Watching the video it looks like they had pyrotechnics that might have gone wrong. Looked like a big explosion before the truck passed through it. Very sad no matter what happen.

Unhappy WOW that was insane.

Freeze the vid and frame it forward slowly and you can see the truck starting to loose control before the planned fireball.
Very sad to see.

That's tough. I've seen him perform at several airshows over the years. RIP

He was at the air show last fall at Great bend, KS which was going on at the same time next door to the drag strip during Pontiac event. Was like we had tickets too the show, and what a show he put on! Tragic and sad to see this happen . RIP

He died while doing what he obviously enjoyed. Condolences and prayer to his loved ones.
