Default A/c Gurus come in for my 68 bird

So I got a 68 firebird that came with a smoothed firewall and no A/c components, I have nothing, was looking at one of those vintage kits but man $1900 is kind of steep right now, I have a new style a/c compressor that came with the car, any suggestions??

The car got a 496ci with high port Kaufman heads

Vintage is about 3 months out. I just got my Bird unit last week that I ordered in December. This will be the 2nd one I'm installing in a F body. The first works very nice and the install was pretty easy. The big difference is the aftermarket units don't bring in fresh air. They just recirculate. I'm removing an operating '69 factory system right now that I'll be selling.
