Default Lower inter piece how does it mount

Can some one show me how this mounts under the drivers side

I just mounted my column and cant remember how this went.

Column was a bear but it is right and I am happy

Will post pics of the restored interior

This is for a 80 Pace car TA

Do you have any of the GM Manuals? 1980 Service, Fisher and Assembly, or the 76-81 Parts?

That piece goes up behind the pedals. The jute padding goes down first and will have 2 holes that line up with those screw holes. They were fairly long sheet metal screws. 7mm or 5/16 head if IIRC and maybe an inch and a half long. I just removed mine to do the floor pan. Let me know if you need pics of the screws. I've got them in Ziplocs.

that thin plastic piece shown goes up under the dash as the GM diagram shows.

the part on the floor behind the pedals with thick jute padding is different.
