Wife keeps telling me that ... you gotta enlarge those notches
Anyone ever have to shim the frame brackets left or right? Like with a washer between the frame and the frame mount? I'm finding the frame brackets are bit "splayed" out in the front ... limiting how much the bumper will slide left and right in the bumper slots. This too I suspect is from the frame horn being tweaked a bit ... all it's got to do is splay the frame mounts out 1/2" at the front and it uses up most of the side-to-side slots in the bumper.

I would think that it would only be off on one side if the one horn was bent. If you have to slide the bumper all the way left or right and it still won't line up you more then likely need to shift the core support and fenders in the opposite direction to get it back close to center. My repop support had to be shifted some to the left because the fender mount holes aren't centered properly in relation to the frame mounts. It was a royal pain getting that crappy core support to work.

Excellent, thank you, didn't think about shifting the core support ... I was only moving the fenders in the bolt holes to square them up. So I can probably start by looking at the fender bolts in front ... if both fenders show the bolts in one side of their slots then I can shift the core support to get them back in the middle and resquare things.
And yes mine looks like it needs to be shifted to the left ... since I'm finding it hard to get the bumper far enough to the right. I keep forgetting just how many things will move on the front ends.
