Default 71 ho is finally done

Purchased a “rebuilt” 71 ho engine and when it was delivered it was a complete basket case. Finally ready to install accessories and drop it in

That's looking great!

What's the serpentine setup on the other motor?

My machinist gave me some new .040 over pistons to use in my GTO. They came out of a '71 455 HO that a dentist paid $5000. The seller stuck new pistons in worn out .040 over holes and called it good, sold it to the dentist. Machinist had to do the whole engine over again.

Looks good! Is the 71 a stock rebuild? What's the story on the other one?
