Default parking lights on when brakes applied!

1970 FB, When I apply the brake pedal, my parking lights also come on. Also the turn signal indicators in dash also light up but do not blink inside or outside the car. Is this a "flasher" issue or perhaps the turn signal switch it self?? Thx

Did this ever get resolved? I have the same problem or very close to it. When I depress the brakes the dash lights and parking lights come on. Looking to save some time before troubleshooting it. Thank you!

This may sound obvious, although worth a check. I had this exact problem years ago, it about drove me crazy till I discovered there was a dual element tailight bulb in a single element socket, everytime I would step on brakes, 12volts was back fed into the parking lights. Check all of your tailight, and front parking light sockets for this error.

What about the hazard switch? With normal operation, hazards on, when you press the brake the front signals stay illuminated. Could that switch be bad/malfunctioning?
