Metallics and paint strainers
Should I remove the screen in the top of PPS lids to shoot Verdoro Green metallic? Last time I tried to shoot metallic with one of those screens in I was trying to figure out why no paint was coming out (Bill Hirsh engine paint), took the lid off and the screen was not letting the metallic through and plugged up.
So far I don't think I've found any paint that likes to go through them, so I'm not sure why they are there .... and on the Gen 2 PPS they don't even have the little tab to pull them out. What about typical paint strainers, anything different I need to do there with metallic? |

NO ! Your not spraying metal flake.for crying out loud. Make sure your mix is well stirred up and all the metallic that settles on the bottom is dissolved . That screen in that lid is a life saver…..don’t ef with it.

OK then, I'll give it a shot with the screen in, but it's on you if it clogs up
