Default Wanted: Any vintage Bourbon Whiskey

Looking for any unopened vintage Bourbon Whiskey. In the Bourbon world, vintage can be as new as 3-5 years old! So if you got a gift and aren't into bourbon, shoot me a PM with a pic of what you have.

I'll pay cash or I have been known to get my hands on an occasional Pontiac part that I would trade very fairly with.

Being that I live in the heart of Bourbon country, if there’s something specific you got in mind let me know and I don’t mind to keep a keen eye out. Happy hunting.

Dang, I have a really nice engraved bottle that I received as a personal gift when I was at the Keeneland Concours a number of years ago. Unfortunately someone (not myself I dont drink) cracked it open for a few sips. Dont suppose youre looking for a vintage bottle of Dom? I have one of those in the box with the paper work as well.

Thanks Matt! I've found that even right in Bourbon country, you need to literally visit stores on an almost daily basis to pickup the harder to find 'current' limited edition items. And many times the regular versions look the same as the special editions if you are not careful. That being said,......
EH Taylor (any)
Weller (any)
Stagg Jr. (any)
Blanton's (any)
Henry McKenna 10 year green label
Michter's 10 year
cooper's craft reserve

These are all under $75 msrp and what I would pay.

The following are a little more expensive;

Bardstown Discovery series 4
Sam Houston 14 or 15 year
Calumet 15 year
Old Carter

Are all very hard to find in my area and really anywhere. You just have to catch the store putting it on the shelf but in more situations, they won't even put it out on the shelf. You have to ask the manager if he has any in the back. When that happens, 'most' times, the price is still reasonable. But then that's another problem in that you'd have to know pricing.

Ha! very cool! Not sure how I'd feel after spending that much money and then it likely tastes like rotting wood!

The 250 year old bourbon might might get $10,000 a shot, or a whole lot more, if the auction winner was willing to open it.

Have one of these in the old liquor cabinet, still with the paper seal on it. Jim Beam liquor is from 1981.

look for a date on the tax stamp on the ribbon that goes across the cap.

Someone put the price tag on top of the cap. Guess I'll never know. My son bought them for me about 15 years ago.
My Dad used to drink C & G . He introduced it to me when I turned 21.
Is this brand still being made/sold ??

The tax stamp identifies the age by it's color.

https://www.drinksplanet.com/dating-...s...-1205.html

It has to be at least older than 1984 from what I can see.

I have not ever heard of that brand.
