That's a 1973-76 Full Size lighter. The correct assembly line 1973-77 A/G lighter had a serrated ring on the knob.

Looks like your rite, I gave it to a can am guy and he didn’t notice in the pic.
The leather strap isn’t factory though.

ML, you can still have it, looks to be incorrect, but the face is nicer than yours, your call.

I have used those full size lighters to restore a correct A/G lighter. The element and insert with the Zippo marking are the same. The full size lighters are much easier to come by. As for the leather strap, I thought it was implied that the leather strap was not original. It was a file photo found on Fleabay.
