Default Pic of 2nd Design Sail Panel Area

Hi,
The guy doing my headliner is having an issue with the sail panel fitment.
Could someone post a couple of pics including where the panel meets the back glass?
The trim at the bottom is angled and we need to see how it all “meets” at the back glass and trim
Thanks,
Don

Question

I'm not sure if I am understanding your "Bottom" trim??
If you're referring to the bottom portion of the sailboard/panel then there is no trim used on the 2nd (LARGE) sail. See 1st pic

2nd pic shows the bottom plastic trim used on 1st design.

Sorry, yes a pic of the large sail panel fitment is what I needed.
This is what the guy did (see pics)
Legendary precovered panel and its not fitting correctly.

Yea, that's just something you'll need to adjust.
Yours look better front and back than mine.

I'm using aftermarket cards/boards and had to test fit them several times,
and had similar issues so I slid them forward and downward to close up the gaps.

My replacement cards are not exactly the same size as OE this increased the gap at the rear window plastic trim/wind lace,
with that, I ran the headliner material down along this area and tucked it in this area.
This was the only way I could install the side window lace and get the bottom of the sail to sit tight at the bottom.
Mine are showing some age (material coming loose) so I may make another set soon.

In your case adding the bottom plastic trim might be a good option.

Gotta Love Aftermarket!

Don, it looks like the repro panels are undersized. Moving them down and using the trim may fix it. Or, you could try to get pieces that fit correctly (used ones that are re-covered, etc. )
