Default Looking for Chrome Dealer Logo Deck Lid Badge - Leo Payne Pontiac

My 1969 Firebird was delivered to Leo Payne Pontiac in Denver CO in February 1969. It came with a chrome logo which was screwed onto the lower left edge of the trunk lid. I removed it decades ago, but now I can't find it to save my skin. Is there anyone on here that knows of these, has a source for one, or has one that I might talk him/her out of?

Thanks.

Take a trip to the Denver area, scour the swaps.

Not sure where you've looked but this is currently on eBay. It does not say "Pontiac" which might have been on your original.

Thanks Shiny. I'm pretty sure the original included "Pontiac" on the badge, but since it has been decades since I've seen it, I could be wrong. Yes, Lakewood Plaza, as cast in on the one for sale on eBay, was the strip mall where the dealership was located I believe, up on the north side of W Colfax Ave (or was it 6th Ave . . . ??).

Hope you find an emblem that's "correct" and adds some nostalgia for you.

Looks like Wadsworth from this blurb:

I went to school in Golden so lived around there from 72 to 76. I probably drove by that dealership a hundred times and never paid attention. I definitely didn't have the money for a new Pontiac.

Thanks again, Shiny.

Mr. Payne might've moved to Wadsworth after I left the area in '70. Took 'em long enough to induct Leo into their hall of fame. The link also showed John Luby (inducted 2021) was recognized. I remember his radio commercial "That's why I love Luby's! -- Lawrence to Larimer on 13th Street."

Anyhoo, any additional leads on one of the Payne in the rear badges would be appreciated.
