I've seen some of the new lithium ones have an internal heater to get them to work in the cold. I have 2 main concerns. Lithium boosters don't have a long crank time and lithium batteries are notorious for catching fire. Would make me nervous keeping it in the glove box or trunk.

the only way you are going to crank a v8 over for 20-30 seconds is with a fully charged up 12v lead acid battery ,just buy another one for your car and keep it charged up and in your trunk.along with some thick jumper cables..
