I have a block code of 9778791, and a WG on the front of the block below the passenger side head. Can someone tell me what year and CID this engine came from. Thanks!

Thanks for the info, the guy that sold me the car said it had a 428 in it. At least the model year is right for my '65 goat. I think the block date code by the distributor begins with a K and ends with a 4, so I assume that to be November of 64?

Thats right for the date code whats the other numbers ?
Whats the date codes on heads,intake,and check the cars date? Everything might be right just the blocks been changed! |
