Drug home another one last weekend. 1970 Model J, one owner, 57K, Atoll Blue-white-blue. Not heavily optioned, but it does have a dual snorkel air cleaner and 12 bolt rear... :-)

Thanks guys! I really like the color combo too. This car is probably the most original GP I've owned as far as factory components still being in place. I'll post more pics later.

Dave... Yes, the XF 455 is all there. Yes, it will make nice driver.

Richard... those are two great lookin HO's you have there! Have fun tinkering this weekend!

Steve... got lucky on that build sheet, first place I looked. For sure, the original plates match the car well too.

Matt... my best friend got me started in these cars, his parents bought a '70 new that was given to him for his first car in high school. My first GP was a '70 also that I bought in 1980 and I haven't looked back!

The auto 428HO I got from Grant about 3 months ago. My 1st GP since High School in the 70s. It is an original "loaded" Model J with black leather in very good shape with the exception of the exterior. The paint & top are rough due to sitting in the Ca sun for a few years but I'm in the process of restoring it. The 4spd is a 428HO SJ with 120K needing an engine rebuild but runs (rough but still having fun) Just arrived from Illinois on Thursday afternoon. Both cars are original and numbers matching! All I can say is Grant is a bad influence!! LOL
