I will clarify, sorry for the confusion. The Only main bearing King makes for a Pontiac period is the STREET OE replacement bearing for the 3.0" main only. The King OE street bearings have none of the advanced features being discussed and therefore no advantage over a Clevite or Federal Mogul street bearing. Nothing at all for a 455, not even a street bearing that I know of. Thus my comment about lousy attitude and poor coverage. I would simply encourage Pontiac street engine rebuilds as well as performance builds to support the companies who support the engines we love. Companies who are willing to make quality parts for our tiny niche market obsolete engines should be rewarded with our business. That's just my opinion of the proper way to treat companies who support our hobby. Again, I think it's a real shame because King makes really nice accurate bearings, just not much to fit our cars.
