PCV vacuum ?...
Anyone know why there are two vacuum connections on the 65-66 tri power
Manifolds For the PCV hose instead of just one. .?.. Also would you lose PCV efficiency if you only used one of the two nipples and Capped the other ?? Thanks as always. |

They distribute the crankcase gases to both planes inside the intake for all cylinders to burn the gases.
You can get the correct tee at Ames. The brake booster hose/tube/nipple is connected at rear of front carb. |

It’s not just the Tri-Power intake manifold.
Same design for the 4BBL. intake manifold. Chris.

I know this is the Tri-Power forum but some 4 BBL info for you as related to the PCV system.
The later 4 bbl intakes have a single inlet (Hose) connection to the intake but the fitting is actually designed (if you remove one of them) so that vapors (CFM) from the PCV Valve is directed to both planes of the 4 bbl intake. It threads into the upper intake plane but feeds both the upper and lower intake planes with fumes from the crankcase area or thru the Valve cover in a few engines. Tom V.
