Default automatic air leveler air filter cap

Does anyone know what color the cap and air intake filter were that fit on the intake port on the top of the pump unit? I am not talking about the yellow plastic cap on the side of the pump facing rearward.

I know these are extremely scarce so i am not even going to try to find a replacement part. My intent is to fabricate my own replacement cap as true to original as i can. Thanks in advance

Filter missing from ebay one... If I remember right mine disintegrated when I went to check it for somebody else on the forum, it was grayish looking and fell apart easily which leads me to believe it was of some kind of steel wool material, kind of square in shape.

Default air leveler pump cap

Thanks,

The picture of the one on e-bay has all the parts I already have. I am going to go with a a grey cap and filter and just accept the non-originality of it. Thanks Steve for the input on the color

Arrow Round?

I take that back, crawled through my pics and it looks like a round base, but is definitely a rusted metal material like steel wool.

Should be Delco part # 1-5353826 GR.7.447 It has a black rubber top, then the filter part -which is yellow - then a very thin black rubber base. Will try to attach a photo

Default air filter cap

Thanks so much. What a huge help!! If by some chance I can still order the part it would be huge stroke of luck. Even if not at least I know what to make it look like now.

Default air filter cap

I thought it would be a stretch to think that it might still be available. My on line search did not get any any results. If you know of any sources please let me know. Thanks for all the help

It's been awhile but I think that it was in the SS 454 part. Those cars come standard with load leveling.
