Default 1967 GTO Convertible Auto - California

$49,000
Owned since 1989

History well documented here since 2000 or so.
Fremont Built. Sold in the Bay Area. Never out of California.
Always in the garage.
Everything has been gone through over the years.
Paint was done in 1996 or so. Looks great but not show. GM Maui Blue.
I'll do a walk around and take proper "auction type" pictures this evening of tomorrow. I wanted to get this up while I had time.

No trades.

I'll let someone check it out for you if you need that. I've done that for a number of members over the years.

Here is a gallery of Pics of the car mainly during the Engine R and R a couple of years back when I redid lots of stuff. Various things. There the quick video of my lovely wife starting it up for the first time after getting the engine in.

Rebuilt Engine: http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...d.php?t=785341
Dyno session - 501 HP with Victor intake: http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...19#post5627119

- Ported original 670 heads by SD
- RA Manifolds. Torque Tech 2 1/2" exhaust is excellent.
- I have the Smog A.I.R. equipment intact
- Original date correct Starter rebuilt in a box.
- CVF Aluminum pulleys. I have the original pulleys.
- Rear end and Trans are not original.
-- Rear is an Olds "O' type posi rebuilt with Eaton 3:42 gears/bearings recently
-- Trans is a TH400 rebuilt recently. Continental 13" Pontiac Special convertor (From Cliff)
- Replaced brake and fuel lines/hoses.
- New Repro Rally Gauges, and Bezel.
- Dash pad is perfect
- Repro Grills, (small wire) header trim with new surrounds.
- New modern headlights with relay hidden under fender.
- Cold Case Radiator. (I have the one that came in the car back in '89)
- Open Ram Air hood scoop (came that way) with Fiberglass repro RA air cleaner.
- Rebuilt Radio Am/Fm conversion with USB. New Dash Speaker.
- Includes unopened Legendary Parchment interior and new seat foams, padding kit. Not cheap
- Interior is very nice but had this black interior when I bought it. I purchased the kit last year to put it back to Parchment.
- Top works great. And looks great. Cylinders restored by good ol' Hydro-Lectric in the 90's. New Top motor back then too.
- Trunk Release.
- Rechromed Bumpers 15 years ago or so.
- New Rocker Trim. Door trim looks great. Replaced top seals years ago. Still great.
- 14" Rally ll wheels, I put in disc brakes from an A Body around 1995 or so.
- New U-joints, Body Bushings, RobbMc Fuel Pump, 1/2 fuel lines, New Sender, Tank dropped and cleaned, New wheel wells, front end restored/painted.
- Steering column removed and restored with new switch and bearings.
- Underneath is super clean. Always has been.
- M&H wiring harness under the dash.
Cons
- Had/s a passenger mirror on it.
- Some small chips and marks in the paint
- Windshield washer not functioning. I have a rebuild kit for that.
- Driver seat has a wire popping through down by the seat belt retractor.
- I redid the dash with an AMES real wood walnut 67 piece. Looks great. I made a console and console door cover out of walnut veneer. Console looks great. The leading edge of the console door I couldn't bend the walnut entirely well. Looks OK. The rest looks great. I reflocked the console "glovebox"
I have the original bezel face that is in excellent shape. You can get the decal kit for the rest if you want but I think the walnut I made looks great.

Runs perfect.

I have some original pieces that I upgraded and LOTS of small pieces and parts.
