Default '71 GP - Build Date / Date Shipped in just One Day?

I'm thinking that this isn't very common to see. My '71 GP's build sheet shows the scheduled build on 04-27 and the invoice shows shipped on 04-28. Curious to know if this was fairly common or not? This car was built at the Lakewood Plant in Atlanta, GA. The data plate on the cowl reads 04D, last week of April 1971.

Had a 67 GTO built in Michigan. I found the original owner. The build day and the day the owner picked up the car were the same. Car was delivered to Columbus Ohio. The original owner had all the original paperwork from the dealer with the date delivered. Mattson at PHS said that the car was probably built the night shift and put on a truck and went to Columbus so ended up with the same date.

WOW!!..... now that is amazing to me. I suppose that could happen if a given dealer was close enough in relation to the plant.
