Munice In? How long ago was that pic taken?

That track was a chassis killer until they repaved it a yr or two ago.

I moved the inner wheelhouses in about 2", and notched the frame.
they were pretty rusted, and needed to be replaced anyway, and the 295s i had on it before rubbed a little, so I made room for the 315s
also remade about 1/3 of the outer wheel houses due to rust, and had to move the lower shock mounts in alittle to clear the rims. (15 x 10 with 6"back spacing).

The other track I was refering to was my home track (so I'm alittle biased), Interstate Dragways in Minnesota,
If any of you have been there this last year, the new owner sprays the track like he's preping for a national event.
those are the only two tracks I've been able to hook with a 50n 53f jet off the full throttle switch.

Beautiful car Don! Love that color. Is that the original paint too? Low miles?

I agree. That dark green-dark top-chrome wheel combination works very well.

Thanks guys. The original color is Bluestone Gray, I have only seen a couple other GP's in this shade. My car was repainted once in 1984 and is not a perfect match to the original color as it has too much green in it. The original owner was a foot doctor who had a parking garage at his office so it never sat out in the weather much at all. He kept it until he died of a sudden heart attack in 1984. It had 84,xxx miles at the time and his neighbor bought it and had it repainted. When he got sick in 1996 I bought the car with 96,xxx on it. It currently has 113,xxx on it. Engine and drivetrain have never been opened up. The interior is 98% mint unrestored including the factory dated carpet. I have detailed the engine compartment and rebuilt the front end though. It's not perfect but it sure does drive nice, It's a keeper!

I have ESP that's how I know! Extra Snoopy Pontiac-itis that is. Actually I know 2 previous owners of that car, not the people you got it from but the 2 before that. My brother sent me the online ad for the car last week so I knew it was on the market. I just saw the owners I knew at the swap meet in Wichita yesterday also. PM me if you need a complete good black interior. I'm helping a buddy's widow sell off some parts. I think I have a buyer for his 69 Model J now, I'm taking him over to look at it on Sunday.
