How did you like this unit? Is there a reason you changed to a posi?

It was ok. I knew from a lot of research going in that it would be noisy and change the way it went through turns. I’m getting ready to sell the car and knew potential buyers would most likely not care for the characteristics of it. Switched to an Eaton posi. Much more pleasant to drive now. The locker was to be a temporary fix til I could upgrade to a stronger rear end, which never happened.

I do not know how it could not make noise by the way the gears are designed. Really don’t hear it while driving. Mostly hear it doing parking maneuvers.

3:23. Gear ratio doesn’t matter with this unit like it does with a complete carrier. You just need to have a non posi carrier. If your interested in this pm me and we can discuss.

I have a locker in my car works awesome in a straight line you would think the rearend is broken driving around or turning if you didn’t know it was in there.
