Production numbers
Does anyone have production numbers on how many 1972 ModelJ had a 455 installed?

I don't have any specific data on that, but there were 13,560 455 engines in GP. (no designation of which ones)
There were 9398 SJ GP's made. So, if one figures all the SJ's were 455's (no clue if so), subtract that from the 13,560 total 455 GP. So more or less around 4100 'J' model GP? Haven't seen any Fred Simmonds info on the GP.

Hi Grant, I do still have the car. I just had the carb rebuilt and it's running great..
