Default Looking to buy E-heads

Looking to buy a good set of ported E-heads. The ones I’m currently running are SD Performance 340-350cfm standard port location heads set up for a solid roller with about .750 lift. I had the balancer bolt come loose and back out. When it did the crank key moved out enough that the belt drive crank pulley quit spinning but the engine didn’t. I managed to bend almost every valve in the head. I need all new valves of which the exhausts are a custom made deal and are usually about 6 weeks or so out. In the meantime I need something I can bolt on and run. Watcha got that’s ready to bolt on and you want to sell? Thanks

Hey Paul- They start life as a Manly 11243 blank that’s cut down to 1.74” diameter and 5.345” long. I don’t know the rest of the specs on them though.

Paul- Valves or heads? Yes! Valves would be ideal but heads would work too depending on what they are and how much.

Hey Rick, not sure if I have anything that'll work. Here's the closest I have;

1.81 x 5.4 Manley

1.78 x 5.4 Ferrea

1.77 x 5.31 titanium

Everything else is shorter or has a much smaller head diameter.

Thanks for looking Paul. I really appreciate it. After checking the heads out better today I had 8 bent exhaust and 3 bent intakes. I had the heads freshened back in March with all new valve seats and new exhaust valves. 4 of the them were in great shape. I got to looking around in my old parts and I think I’ve come up with enough to put it back together. I forgot that a few years ago I had them worked on and we went ahead and replaced all the valves. So I still have some that are good. Hopefully have it back up and running by tomorrow night.

Haha!! I didn’t take them to the machine shop. I repaired them here at home. The 8 used exhaust valves I had were already touched up from my trip to the machine shop back in March when I had these heads completely freshened up. I lapped them all in and they looked good so I’m going with it. I’m not quite as picky as my machine shop guy who didn’t want to use 4 of them. My problem now is i found a couple of my T&D shaft rocker arms bad and the shafts they were on are eaten up. So I may not make it this weekend unless I can get parts here or a new shaft system here by Friday. I wish I had looked them over better when I took it apart Sunday. I could have ordered parts a couple days earlier. I’m sure missing Jim at the machine shop. I had these freshened up at Woodruff Race Engines in Virden, IL. I would have had the engine running last night had I not found the bad rocker arms.
