Fender and quarter patch panels
My son needs patch panels for the lower front fender and rear quarter on his 65 Tempest. I was surprised when I couldn't find them on Ames' website (maybe im just technologicallychallenged?). Where is the best place to buy these?
Thanks, Importsmasher

I found the rear ones from Ames, but the only thing I can find for the front is on ebay. Has anyone used these?

I have a complete driver's side quarter if you need one cut into the roof and has the trunk return.

Nobody has needed to patch a front fender?

My fabricator/metal guy tried to use them on a 65 prior to my 64. He said they were really bad. So mine were fabricated from scratch. He also fabricated the rear quarter area.
So no direct experience but I trust my person. |

I used a pair of panels like that on my 65 about 15 years ago - not the greatest piece but still better than what I (and I suspect most novices) could have hand formed. Still have to fab the bracing behind if if it is rusted out as I believe this is only a 'skin'.

Thanks guys! Making my own is beyond my skill level, so we just ordered the ebay one for the front fender. We'll order the rear from Ames when we get to that point.
Thanks, Importsmasher
