could not get up there yet, about a 40-50 mile trip.I think the hood is a value in this market for people that want metal and dont NEED a real one.I know it was a no brainer for me even with a little work on the latch area.Have 2 friends that have ordered them from looking at mine when it arrived.Tom

If you happen to stop over at Cheetahs, say hello to Lisa Spencer, she's the very hot blond walking around with the shot bottle. Last time we spoke she was still working there. Tell her Chris from CT. says hi!

Buy the whole bottle....Trust me, you'll have a good time!

the scoop tabs are diff from the pic posted of the other hood.My body guy does not know the value of a T/A hood.He said the fitment was NBD.He was more concerned about the paint on the car.Smart ASS wanted to know if I wanted the hood painted the white on the door or the white on the rear 1/4.So I told him to shoot the frigging door also if he wanted.I cant see the diff. When the car is actully done I will compare it to the T/A in my garage.Tom

Was the hood bolted on the car?
If it was it sure doesn't line up very well with the bat wing.
It looks about 1/4 inch off on some areas.

the whole front end was not put on properly! The hood was on but not closed all the way.The fillers for the light surrounds were crushed. The guy that put the car together after painting must have forgot where everything went.Im hopeing it will be OK when done. Its going to be a driver so im really not too worried about it.I just know im glad I did not spend 5000 to 10000 for a real hood for what I want to do with the car.JMHO,Tom

my family and myself took a trip up to wisconsin last week and while there, dennis called me and i decided to drive over to minnesota and see him. i asked him about the hood and he said it was the one he had bought some time ago, long before the repos had even come out. ( i am pretty sure he said he sold it to you before the repos had came out ). while there, i made a deal with him on a bunch of stuff and spent around 50k and everything went smooth and was just like he described it to me when i was in minnesota. again, i personally have had nothing but good dealings with dennis.
