I have absolutely no idea. I have asked for updates a couple times and got no response. How someone could not jump all over that is beyond me.

I imagine the bidding will slow down a little now. At least the seller had a lot of fun in the first hour of the auction.

First think I do when i walk in my office is turn on the computer hit ebay and type in 1969 trans am. Its the curse of owning one your restoring siiiiiiigh. Still fun having it none the less. you should see the looks i get driving that poor car as hard as i can. I drag it, donuts, burnouts, man i even let my two year old back it off my trailer in Reno last year. Have the pics to proof it lol. I call it my future Ricky Bobby. Before the questions come yes it is a real Trans Am and one of the reasons it was sold to me is because the guy knew i was gonna go out and have fun with it not just let it sit in my garage. Anyways I love this pain in the rear car. Parts are next to impossible to find everyone gives me a hard time about it, and it likes to break, ALOT!!!! the look on someones face the first time they see you blow the doors of a honda in you one of app. 175 cars left? priceless lol. The ebay car is a damn nice car though you can't hate someones luck though. sad to see they guy buy it and resell it. you always hope that luck goes to someone who really loves that kind of car. Oh well i guess i did the same thing with my big block project camaro, although i kept it for four years before i turned it for 10 times what i bought it for.

At least you get to drive yours. Mine's been in the garage for 10+ years now. Still collecting parts but one day....

Even a long time gto guy like gregs knows his ta's . The white interior sets this car apart and it looks very original throughout . I'll take it in a minute for anything near 50. C'mon greg your probably watching this one close .

Ok, here's a question - if you had been the lucky buyer at $20k, would you keep it or flip it?

I'd keep it.

Saw this car when it hit ebay, as i get emailed all 4 spd 69 birds. Found this thread today. What shocked me, was how clueless the team camaro guys were. When it was thought to be a 4 spd RAIV, they were like "have seen one go for 95" UH YEA a III car. It would be like you guys (Pontiac nuts) not knowing the value of a Yenko?!?!
Anyway, I hope someone buys it to enjoy. I know I just took mine with my wife and my 3 and half year old son (it's his favorite car of mine) on a 50 mile round trip excursion to Gus's drive in, in East Troy WI. Went on a Sun. night, so no cars there, but plan on going this Sat. night, maybe with a GTO.

My TA is a 55k mile #s 4 spd. restored in the ealry 90s. Blue gut car (love the interior myth in the other posts) Has all the right stuff, carbs, pans etc. I still feel like the 69 TA is one of the best cars of that era, especially becasue of the icon it became in its later dominating sales years.
Ony 520 4spd built. This white gut car that was found,is definitley cool.

My car
