Don't know if the spider gears in mine will fit. There is a company that does rears, can't remember name. They don't advertise the 66 rears but have parts to fit a Series 1 carriers with the 3.08 or 3.23 gears

Check pontiac parts swap meet on Facebook. There a 66 A Body diff with 3.23 geared posi. Diffs are different but I believe the carriers are the same

When I needed bearings and such for the rebuild of the 12-bolt posi in my 68 Bonneville, I got them here:
http://www.jdrace.com Phone: (330) 990-8155
Do I know that he has the parts, nope, but I believe he does know these rear ends and can at least clear up some of the confusion as to what will or will not work.
