Is the underside of a 65 GTO hood the same color as the outside paint, or were they all black?

Inside of my 68 FB 400 hood was the same color as the wheel wells and rad craddle after I cleaned it. Semi-gloss? black. It wasn't a flat black and it was an original piece in mint condition. Hated repainting it But I think it and the firewall looks MUCH better in 'ugly' green. alan
