Default Lacquer or enamel for 69

Looking at a survivor original paint car and was wondering did they use Lacquer or enamel paint in 69. Thanks

Lacquer for sure. Even my 76 Olds was still done in Lacquer, and pretty long lasting. Drove it to a cruise today and still in it's original paint:

As a rule of thumb, IIRC, GM was lacquer, Ford and Chrysler were enamel.
