Doc Halladay... RIP
So sad to here about the news of Roy Halladay.
He was treated as a god and a person larger than life here around the Philadelphia area. He wasn't just a great pitcher, he was an even better person off the field and in the community. He will be missed. |

Well said! I was truly saddened by the news.
Not too many like him for sure. |

This really sucks, to achieve so much and be dead at 40. RIP Roy thanks for all the memories!

everyone loved him up here in Toronto, and we all wished he would win a World Series with the Phillies when he left.
RIP Roy |

RIP Roy Halladay. With so many egotistical, self absorbed athletes that we see today you stood out as of the good guys in sports.

They showed video on the news tonight of him flying right before the crash. For some reason he was diving down and swooping up just barely above the water.
