As I recall the raceshop heads got damaged at a race and Jim got them a stock set (overnight(?))so they could be racing and meet a commitment.

And you believe the 2nd set we're ported huh ? Based on what ? ...

... well apparently you're not going to respond, but who gives gives a damn ...

... the point is very simple, for me to be thorough as usual some phone calls have been had today with Arnie Beswick about the CV-1 powered Tempest, and long story short, things are exactly just as i believed them to be, meaning the heads are unported as well as the manifold minus some minor port matching to the manifold just like i posted ...

... so does DragNcar or Paul K care to tell me yet again that the heads are not unported now ?? ...

... and on a further note people have asked about the MPH of the car and apparently Arnie said there's a miss in the engine towards the top end which they feel is an electrical issue leading to the driver lifting early, Arnie feels once this is fixed the car will run 7.80's or so but we'll have to wait and see ... just being thorough here ... like always

How about you tell me how "unported" things are Bill.... either you or 7T2 seem to have your facts wrong. Since you two are the ones crying all the time about false information, one would think you'd try to make accurate posts.

Arnie can comment on his car and combinations all he wants I'm not going to speak on his behalf unless asked by him.

As long as you're playing P.I. why don't you investigate why one could use a stock block, forged crank 463 with as cast CV-1 top end and run 7.8's..... or go pay a chit ton of money an an aftermarket block, billet crank 541 with top of the line ported CV1'S and a custom sheet metal intake manifold and only run 7.60's (with less nitrous of course ) ?

No,I'm referring to when you helped them run three tenths slower and scattered the engine all the way down the track at Byron.

Sounds like he’s right on your coat tails with only one time out and still has $25,000 more cash in his pocket then what you spent.

And class legal.

Sounds like someone is getting nervous, you aren’t smoking again are you Jack?

Ray needs to worry about catching Jeff first.
He is maxed out with a 46 jet in the fogger.

And his new motor won’t come close to running what his Tiger headed motor ran.
You can lock that one in!

Do you race anymore?
Don’t you have a Firebird with ladder bar, four link and a new motor?

Are you talking about Ray's cv1 heads?

Geez he better not considering the unported street manifold he’s running.

Not some gutted out, steam roller tire, dual carburetor, carbon fiber so called street car like yours....

No Jack, I’m taking time off like you did, but I didn’t spend $25,000 trying to figure it out.

I sold everything and I’m living on an island in the South Pacific, stop by sometime.
