Is it just me or are the cars getting crazy money?

Yeah. Out of control.

I was just watching and the new guy (bearded millennial type) providing color commentary is pretty much an idiot. How do you get a gig like that and seemingly know absolutely nothing about the cars being sold?

Barrett Jackson, presumably? I stopped watching all those crap shows long ago. They have nothing to do with reality and do nothing positive to advance the hobby, in my opinion. Complete waste of time, unless you simply want to look at some eye candy with the TV muted. Personally I'd rather go to a car show and get all the sights and sounds and smells up close and personal. Much more fulfilling.

The John Staluppi collection of 50’s cars is pretty incredible though.
