Default Year One Ralley Two's

Hey Guy's still have not decided on just what wheels to go with yet and keep arriving at the very same wheels that he car came with the Ralley Two's. I love the look however not the weight and the sizes. Anyone have the Year Ones? If so what was required to get them to fit the original car?
Thanks

We put year one rally2 wheels on my brother's 69 that i restored for him. I believe 17x9. Car has lowering springs in front. Looks great but they do rub some while sharp turn.

If you search my posts you will find some detailed measurements and pictures of my install on a 68 firebird. There are now two back spacings available, 4.5" and 5" and the widths are 8" and 9" respectively.
For my car 4.5" backspace is ideal for the front.

He works for Harley Davidson, that's their color called sedona orange. Car now has stripe down side similar to yenko camaro. That pic is right after I finished the car.

Wow that does look sweet! Do you recall what needed to be done out back to get hose wide rims to work?

Wow again! I just noticed that the bumpers were painted! I debated for a very long time on if I should paint, rechrome or repop. Ended up repoping and I'm not that happy with them.I may have to revisit the idea! Very nice indeed! Or maybe it's that color? Very, very nice.......

Wow - great looking car!

I don't always like the painted bumper, but it looks good on this one.

So the rear wheels at 4.5 inch back spacing fit without any rub? I have a set of Drag lights that are rear 15x8 4.5 BS and 15x7 4.5 Bs front. I wanted to try these but have been reluctant for fear of buying the tires only to find that they will not fit. Hmm maybe the will work? Question is what tires do I use??
Anyone?

With low profile (40 - 45) tires and 5" backspace, the rears on my 68 Firebird do not rub, even around corners. Tires are 255 and there is about an inch of clearance from the tire to the well.

So what are you guys running for brakes with these wheels? I really want a set, but I also want to go with a C5 brake setup on my 67.

Thanks for the response; I'll take some measurements before I order anything, was just curious if anyone has run bigger brakes yet.
