Default 69 Firebird Ride Height- need pictures and measurements

The rear of my Firebird is low to the point that I have to be careful going over speed bumps. The the frame connectors don't help nor does the dual exhaust with x-pipe. The current springs, which were new when installed about 5 years ago, have less than 500 miles on them. They didn't seem to change the ride height. I plan to have them re-arched, but I'm not sure how much (1 or 2 inches). I'd like to level if it would look good. It currently has 245/60 on 14 inch wheels. I'm keeping an eye out for 15 inch wheels.

I'd like to see some pictures of other 69 Firebirds with the rear higher than stock-preferably with level front and rear ride heights; and I'd appreciate some measurements at the front and rear rocker panel if possible; as well as wheel and tire size and any arching done to the leaf springs.

I already have the factory measurements for the rocker panel but I haven't compared it to mine yet. Thanks in advance!

I posted some pics of mine. While it looks normal, I've compared it to another stock bird and it sat higher rear and front- so the angle rear to front was the same, just a tad higher.

A 245/60R15 on the back would raise it 1/2".
A 235/60R15 on front would raise it 1/4". (I think a 245/60R15 would be to tall to fit up front).

That would give you about 3/8" more ground clearance where you're hoping to get it.

Perhaps getting a 1" arch adjustment, plus the taller tires will do the trick. If I don't find the 15" wheels, I plan on putting 225/70's in the rear (26.4"); my current rear tires are 25.6".

I think your car sits nice! Looks factory correct.

If you need a little lift in back, you can also try some air shocks. That will allow you to play with the ride height with whatever tires you decide on.

But I like how your car sits now.

Here's an example of correct ride height on a 69 Bird. This one was untouched, 33K miles.

Thanks for the pics. I removed the air shocks when I bought the car in 96; I was a bit concerned about them beating up the shock mounts. The stance doesn't look bad in the pics, but I took a measurement at the rear of the rocker panel yesterday and come up about 1/2" lower than factory.
