Electric exhaust cutout indicator light?
I just installed a set of badlandz electric cutouts. They work great with no leaks. I was wondering if anyone has wired in an indicator light to tell them when the cutouts are fully open or closed versus just guessing that they are at their full open or closed position?

Same here, but what I am thinking of is just something to see to keep from over torquing the motors when I open them all the way.

Some sort of fabrication could be done to mount a micro limit switch to activate as the shaft of the cutout rotates to open/shut. It looks like the shaft on those cutouts have dimples/holes in them that would allow a roller tip of a switch to drop in for open or shut. That could be used to turn on/off an LED.

When I installed mine I counted how long it takes for them to go fully open and then from open to close...5 seconds either way. I just count to five when I want fully open or close, but most times just open them to where I like the sound. DMH brand.
