In order to sell here your car must have a price posted for potential buyers to see.

Can you post the documentation you have? It's interesting that a non-production car would have a window sticker.

Interesting they used 1970-72 Lemans nameplates that hadn't been developed at the time the vehicle was built.

Saw a guy in NJ recently put a Grand Prix nose on an El Camino. Said it was a rare, one off, Grand Camino or something like that. Can't remember what year it was based on.

Hi Everyone This is My Truck . It is Not for sale at this time . The truck was built in November of 1967 New for presentation to Pontiac Motor Division as a Styling Concept backed by over 200 Ponitiac dealers that wanted a truck they could sell to compete with the El Camino sport trucks. The direct result of this resulted in the introduction of the GMC Sprint. I will post some of the documentation. It was featured in dept in 1987 Muscle Car review. Yes it was in Carlisle on sat, Steve Ames' reaction was WOW as was reaction from thousands who wore the grass out around it.
It was owned and Constructed by Gordon Theisen owner of Adirondack Auto sales Potsdam N.Y.

Moderators please feel free to move this as I am looking for any and all info especially pictures of the dealership and any type of dealer frames, fobs, logo's or anything.
Thanks
Jim

Rather 5 pictures of the car, 1 or 2 pictures of the documentation...that would be the money shot for me.

Please don't shoot the messenger; I spoke too soon as the current owner plans on holding off for now with a sale.
Yes, this car was at Spring Carlisle Auction this Past weekend.
Look for it to make some shows this summer.
Again, sorry to have jumped the gun on the sale; I got too excited about this rare ride!
If I'm able to get anymore history on this build I will post elsewhere; any suggestions?
It's a Pontiac for sure. Full size, Le Mans,Concept, Other?
Jim may post more info shortly.

I'd be interested in hearing the story behind it's build.
The original owner must have been friends w/the owner of the dealership or had a fat checkbook for them to take on a build like that. It'd make a great story for Smoke Signals especially if he has the documentation from the dealer that did the build.

Hopefully it'll show up at Norwalk, I'd love to see it in person!

Golden Sleeper, it is certainly a very cool ride- One I'd be proud to own! The story of it being built by a dealership is a lot different than the first post... and a lot more believable.

Enjoy it!

From what I understand it has a Pontiac VIN - How was that possible? What does the PHS come back with?
