What is the reason for adding a Throttle Solenoid and Bracket to a 66 Tripower?

Here is a link to another Throttle Solenoid thread.
I provided images to some parts that might be adapted.

Obviously there was NO Throttle Solenoid and Bracket for a 1966 Tri-Power.
Throttle stop info has been posted in several threads over the years.
