Default Missing ram air exhaust stud ?

Hi, I just discovered I am missing a stud from the ram air exhaust manifold flange on the drivers side down pipe of my 65 GTO.

Anyone have one for sale or advise if they are specific for ram air ?

Are they available from Napa etc.

What size ?

Thanks.

The Help parts line that you see in most parts stores sell studs with brass nuts that can be used on RA manifolds. 3/8 inch-16

Just a quick peek online says that Home Depot has the set for $6.90, other sources are as high as $40 for the same thing. The short studs in the kit are the ones I commonly use on Pontiacs.

You can also just buy all thread, and cut it to length, the brass nuts make for easy disassembly if you ever need to take the pipe off again.

Hope that helps you........

Skip, I usually search every venue available, sometimes it can save you 50-75% over than conventional stores. Oreilly, and Advance was stupid on their pricing for the same thing. If you didn't need it for a few days it's worth waiting for.

That's what growing up with depression era parents instills in you....LOL

The kit I linked to #03147

6 studs, 2 different lengths, and 6 brass nuts, Oreilly's isn't selling that kit for $7. It lists at Autozone, Advance, and Oreilly's for $8.99, Amazon is same as HD, $6.90.

I was incorrect that it was near $35, I guess I was in a hurry, and didn't look at something correctly. I guess price jumps have me shell shocked.

BTW, in case you haven't noticed what you bought a few months ago is usually 20% higher now, at least, if not more. Price jumps on everything seem to go up weekly, look at groceries, it makes me sick.
